Our requirements focus on a comprehensive package that includes daily and periodic cleaning tasks, minor repairs, waste management, and supply of essential materials, all executed with the highest standards of professionalism and compliance to local regulations. The selected provider will deploy a dedicated team comprising a part-time cleaners’ supervisor for oversight, a full-time technician for handling electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep, two full-time cleaners for core duties, and four part-time cleaners to manage peak demands. This setup guarantees consistent quality and responsiveness, aligning with our commitment to creating safe and productive workspaces.

To foster a seamless collaboration, we expect providers to demonstrate proven expertise in similar engagements, particularly with international agencies or NGOs in Iraq. Key qualifications include an average annual turnover of at least 100,000 EUR over the past three years, a minimum workforce of five employees, and at least two verifiable references for cleaning services within Iraq over the last 36 months. Sustainability is paramount – we prioritize eco-friendly practices such as using non-toxic cleaning agents, efficient waste segregation, and energy-saving maintenance techniques to minimize environmental impact.

The contract will commence on March 1, 2026, with an initial term that allows for potential extensions based on performance. Services will be delivered at our Baghdad office, with flexible scheduling to accommodate operational hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday, ensuring minimal disruption. We also include an optional component for expanded scope, such as additional deep cleaning sessions or emergency repairs, to provide scalability as our needs evolve.

Bidders are invited to submit detailed proposals via email to IQ_Quotation@giz.de by December 16, 2025, at 5:00 PM local time, with separate submissions for technical and financial components. Technical offers should outline your methodology, team structure, and past projects, while financial bids must be in Iraqi Dinars (IQD) and detail all-inclusive pricing for personnel, materials, and any incidental costs. Evaluation will weigh technical merit at 70% and financial competitiveness at 30%, ensuring value for money without compromising on excellence.
