Seeking Experienced Traffic Management Subcontractor for CCTV, Free Recovery, and TASCAR Installation – A66 Northern Trans-Pennine Upgrade Schemes 1 & 2

This high-profile infrastructure upgrade, part of the broader £1.3+ billion National Highways initiative, involves transforming key single-carriageway sections into modern dual carriageways along the vital Trans-Pennine route between the M6 and A1, enhancing safety, capacity, and journey reliability across the North West region.

The selected subcontractor must demonstrate proven expertise in delivering similar large-scale traffic management packages on major road projects, ensuring minimal disruption, full compliance with UK highway standards, and seamless integration with site operations. We prioritize partners with strong safety records, adequate resources, and the capability to manage dynamic site conditions over the project duration.

Contract value is estimated at up to £2,000,000, with works scheduled to commence around early April 2026 and continue through to November 2030.

We apply the Build UK Common Assessment Standard (CAS) to evaluate supplier competence consistently.
